Maracaibo - Mutis Perfume
Lake Maracaibo being an important area of Nueva Granada because of the enormous vastness of mineral richness and raw materials, it was very attractive to settlers, looters, pirates and treasure seekers. At present, the lake's most distinctive natural treasure, unique in the world, future and first UNESCO heritage natural phenomenon, and Guinness Record as the most electric place in the world: Catatumbo Lightnings, in Lake Maracaibo. The wari Indians define them as the concentration of millions of fireflies that gather each night in Catatumbo to pay homage to the "fathers of creation." while the Yucpa and Wayúu regard this phenomenon as "the eternal splendor in the heights."

This perfume is the journey to the Lake Maracaibo pile-dwellers who inspired Amerigo Vespucci to give the name Venezuela (Little Venice), distinctive for its impressive electrical phenomenon that served as a beacon for navigators. The scent of lightning, the lake, the paddlewheels, and the drink of Maracaibo: the cocada (coconut, coconut milk and cinnamon).
